Family Secures $800,000 Settlement in Case Involving Apartment Complex Shooting

A client of Hentschel x Lanza was sitting outside of his apartment speaking with neighbors when an individual approached him and started firing a gun. Our client ran towards his apartment to seek cover but was unfortunately shot multiple times prior to reaching safety. The gunman continued into the apartment and shot two more individuals before barricading himself with a minor in the apartment’s bathroom. After being in a standoff for hours, SWAT was finally able to disarm the perpetrator.
